Google Overhauls Google Voice with Two New Paid Tiers

Google has made significant changes to its Google Voice service, introducing two new personal paid tiers: Voice Starter and Voice Standard. The updates aim to modernize the service, which has been overlooked and underupdated in recent years.

The two new paid tiers offer a range of additional features and support, including customer support, three-way calling, and the ability to prevent number reclamation for inactive accounts. Voice Standard includes all of these features, plus the added benefit of Gemini tools.

The free Voice Basic tier remains unchanged, offering basic phone number management and device connection. This tier will continue to be available to users who do not wish to upgrade to the paid options.
